The Function5 Technology Group Warranty Policy
Function5 warrants all equipment to meet the eligibility requirements of the original
manufacturer’s standard maintenance contract at the time of shipment.
Function5 further warrants the equipment to be free from defects in material and
workmanship, considering normal use and service, providing the equipment is properly
installed according to manufacturer’s specifications. This warranty expires
1 year from the date of shipment, or at the time the equipment is placed under
a manufacturer or other approved maintenance contract, whichever occurs earlier.
Function5 will, at its own expense, repair or have repaired or, at its option,
replace or refund the purchase price for any equipment sold by Function5 found
to be defective or not as represented within 1 year of shipment or until equipment
has been placed under maintenance. For equipment that is designated “new,”
Function5 agrees to assign to the buyer the manufacturer’s warranty relating
to the equipment, if any, and to the extent assignable.
This warranty excludes:
Equipment specifically offered “as-is”
or under limited warranty
Equipment placed and maintained under a maintenance
agreement by a manufacturer or maintenance supplier.
Equipment determined by Function5, at its
sole discretion, to have been abused, misused, altered, neglected or damaged in
shipping.
Equipment for which payment is not made in
accordance with agreed-upon terms.
No warranty claim will be honored unless Function5 has pre-authorized the expense.
Except for the express warranties stated above, Function5 disclaims all warranties
on products, including all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for
a particular purpose.
TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
Please visit the RMA Request form. Function5
service personnel will determine the course of action to be taken. If return is
granted, an RMA# will be issued, and shipment should be made, with the RMA# clearly
marked on the outside of shipment, to:

Any equipment that does not meet the above qualifications, or does not have an
RMA#, will be returned without repair and at customer expense.
If any attempt at repair is made before notification of claim to Function5, all
warranties are void. This warranty is not transferable to subsequent purchasers.
